Survivor

Crocus cartwrightianus, outside in a sunny, sandy raised bed.  Still just the one bulb but great flower power.  Having lost many of those I grow in pots I think there is a lesson here for me.

Early to bed last night, we both needed it.  Lots of sleep?  NO!   Jamie could not settle and was up making Yorkshire puddings for a 'snack' at 3am.   I was woken by his bedroom door closing at 4am and did not sleep after!  Up at 745 - we managed less than 8 hours sleep between us!   Amazingly Jamie managed two hours of basketball this morning and I spent all afternoon purging his room.  B****y well better sleep tonight!!
