Last Chance To See

..........this grand old lady ( The Union of South Africa), because I believe she's retiring next year and this will be the last time she'll steam through the local villages.

A really early start (for me) ........out into the chilly misty morning just as the sun was rising ( see extra) and a soggy tramp across some fields to get a good spot to catch this majestic machine in action.........thrilled to see the sun come out and make her look beautiful as she steamed into the distance ( see extra ) for the last time :-)
