Lift Off……..

Colourful fireworks filled the air and thrilled the spectators, especially the many children who had stayed to see nine hot air balloons glowing in the dark, followed closely by the firework display. 

Today was day one of a new festival in Motueka - tomorrow day two will be at Kaiteriteri Beach. Both will be featuring live music, food trucks, an onsite bar with local beers, ciders and wines, balloon exhibitions, outdoor games & circus entertainment etc. 

The weather was perfect and hopefully it will be repeated again for those attending tomorrow.
