It's THAT time

My early morning photo shoot of the sun emerging from the fog did not go as expected. A mama deer with her young one were feeding right behind our sauna building. 
I took many photos of them. They kept glancing up the field, then staring that way very intently. Soon a buck game ambling over the fence from the neighbor's field, right toward them. The mama and youngster moved away, and I was able to focus on the buck for a while. He was sniffing the air, making low murmuring sounds, then headed after them. We seldom see the bucks, except during the fall mating season. Then they seem to throw their customary caution to wind, with one purpose in mind...
