Miss Z had a day off school today due to a curriculum day, so it was a great opportunity to head into town and see the Myer windows. In Melbourne this is a bit of an institution. Huge glass windows of the Myer department store come alive with a christmas theme. It somewhere I remember visiting as a kid and now I take my kids to see them. This year it was based on the childrens book "Russells Magic Christmas" check it out here The kids enjoyed it, especially the frog family incorperated into the story. Directly across from the Bourke Street Mall was another Melbourne institution, Union Lane, which stretches a complete block and is only a few metres wide. This lane is used by graffiti artists and its entire length is covered in amazing images and is constantly changing. Here the kids are taking a moment to capture the lanes beauty.
