Autumn hues

This being flower Friday I managed to find this bouquet at Trader Joe's. I like the autumnal colors of the flowers in it.

I visited May again today, and fortunately she didn't want to go shopping. So we stayed at her home and played cards for an hour. I was glad to hear that she has been accepted by an adult day treatment program which she will attend two days a week. They will have arts and crafts and other recreational activities. It will get her out of the house and give her something to interest her. When my father was alive, demented, nearly blind and almost deaf, I tried taking him to a similar program but it didn't work out. He wasn't interested in getting outside himself, meeting new people, or having to learn new skills, and after a couple of times he refused to go back. I hope it will be a better experience for May.

Guess what! The cable is out again. So I'm doing this on my phone not very successfully.
