Saint Nicholas

I am not sure if he is celebrated in each country. In Belgium he is known as Sinterklaas
He is a bischop that had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him, and thus became the model for Santa Claus. The name Santa Claus is now more related to Christmas, but here we celebrate both Sinterklaas and 'kerstman'.

Today there was a party in the morning organized by the company I work for. Saint Nicholas is accompanied by black pete. Some children are afraid of him, but not my daughter, she was actually applying for a job....
