Holiday Ride

Teacher training day at C's school so her holidays have begun. First job was to make cake to take to Brownie camp this weekend. As I'd rather over bought on the lemons it was a easy choice and little extra work to make two lemon drizzle cakes so we have one for home too.

C's friend Huw was with us for the morning and once the cakes were baked and the rest of the lemons made into lemonade we headed out on the bikes along the canal, stopping at the Five Rise café to refuel on the way back home.

This afternoon was packing time for C, firstly for Brownie camp and secondly for next week's holiday as I suspect she may be too tired on Sunday to decide what she wants in the suitcase.
