Flower for the teacher

Today I was outside with a group of children when one of the little girls came up to me and handed me this tiny flower "Here you go Mrs F its for you its a purple flower to match your coat (my school waterproof jacket is purple). I picked it for you 'cus it was on its own and I didn't want it to be lonely". Bought a lump to my throat. Things like this certainly make my job worth it especially when some days it is tough and I wonder whether I'm in the right job. Yes I am.
