I could have done something useful with the planks of wood we moved house with over ten years ago.  I remember insisting I wasn't throwing them away.  They could have made great new shelving for the bin cupboard but that's really not what I had in mind.  That would never have been as interesting as creating a bug hotel.

So bug hotel it was.

Drill. Saw. Bodging and fashioning.
