Do they know it's Christmas?

Oh yes they do. As you can see from Binty Blip we all got together last night for some festive fun. Secret Santa brought Sarah some rather exciting masks which we had to test, I got a fabulous book about Otters (thanks Darren).

So a fine evening, certainly by the state of our recycling bin this morning. We had great time, and I actually managed to prepare a main course without burning it, which is a result.

I particularly enjoyed the dancing.

The evening was rounded off nicely by a phone call from the Environment Agency warning us that there was a flood warning in place!

We responded in fine style by drinking everything we could find.

It seems to have worked so far as although the river is very high it is not in the garden yet so fingers crossed we have no more rain.
