Center of attention
Sarah and Donna walked over with Nora today. She was ready for a nap, but humored all of us. Dolly had a precious dress for her and a Newcastle United teddy bear. Nora was clutching "Chickina", one of Gregory's childhood favorites and of course you see the center of attention in the photo I have blipped. T and I found that cute lobster jacket for Nora in a great shop in Ellsworth, Maine this summer. Nora is progressing rather insistently into the "Terrible Twos" at 17 months. I love how patient Raspberry is with babies and small children, well, with everyone actually.
Dolly is doing a bit of packing today, the days have flown by so fast. We've done so much and stayed up late the last two nights cheering the Red Sox who won last night are going to the World Series! The player Dolly loved last year when we took in a game at Fenway park, Andrew Benintendi, was one of the big heroes in the last two games, recording the final outs. She has lamented his shorn locks this season, but forgiven him.
Tomorrow we're going to Mystic Seaport, Connecticut via a quick drive through of Newport Rhode Island for a blipmeet with Kangazu and her husband, Wall. They are who are driving up from Pennsylvania. It will be great to see them again.
Dolly departs on Sunday afternoon, we've had a wonderful time together once again. Blipfoto is such an amazing community, uniting us globally in chaotic times. I am forever grateful for taking the plunge May 3, 2010. Until next time...
