Planting time at Stowe

This is the Friday volunteering group in the early morning light at the start of day five of bulb planting. There were 335000 bulbs on Monday morning and at the close of play today there are 60000 left for week two. Quite an achievement by the staff and many volunteers.

What will it look like in the spring ? There are bluebells in one area and fritillaries in a second area. Something to look forward to.
