The catwalk's ready!

It's the "Stand Up to Cancer" fashion show at the shop. (Before you ask, I was a helper not a prancer!)  We usually make a fair bit of money. Entrance tickets alone totalled £486; the raffle had 21 brilliant prizes, many from local businesses and organisations, and the clothes that have been modelled are sold off over the next few days. 

Hard work is involved - the racks of clothes on the shop floor have to be taken apart to get them into the back room, chairs put out, food to get ready (for the volunteers, wine and nibbles for the guests). Then all has to be put back for the shop to open the next day.
