Gatherings Saturdays

Visited my pal Shelley today and she kindly laid on lunch for us. Her kids are so lovely, a real credit to her.

M is concerned about the fashion credibility of being a sheep in the school nativity but thankfully my friends daughter Sophie is now (after some convincing) out and proud of being a chicken in hers.

This evening we went to an organised birthday gathering. It was suppose to be like a 50s 60s living room jazz hangout. They put on a curry and there were table games out for entertainment. Weird for me as we took J's new boss who I don't really know and I didn't know anyone at the gathering either. Would have liked to have brought my invisible coat so I could do some people watching. J's boss is really confident and interesting to talk to. Holds a room together nicely without taking over it. Pleased to hear his views on their coffee shop and see how grateful he is for all J's put in.
