International Gin Day

...or so our friends told us, but it seems to be on different dates for different countries. So we declared it “Wanaka Annual Gin Day” and invited them over for a gin and a catch up. We had a very pleasant time.

Have a great weekend everyone. Its a holiday weekend (Labour Weekend) in New Zealand so a number of visitors in town. The town is still in shock from the most recent helicopter crash that killed the 3 people on board. The pilot’s brother was killed less than 3 months ago in a helicopter crash. Devastating for their family and friends.
