Crumlin Road Gaol

This old jail is no longer in use and an underground tunnel from the original courthouse runs underneath the road so that when the prisoner was sentenced they just had to travel a short journey to their cell block. This is the back courtyard of the prison and is is now used for Murder/Mystery events, spooky tours of the cells and underground tunnels and there’s even a spooky Halloween themed fairground in this courtyard right now with a big ferris wheel that you can see across the city lit up at night
