Rio Tejo

What fun we have had today exploring the Baixa and Rossio areas of Lisbon before heading up to the Castelo with its panoramic views and old ruins. We saw shoe shiners at work, wandered past hat shops, many pastry shops and small cherry liqueur Ginjinha shops, a tinned fish shop and lots more. So much to see including incredible architecture, tiles and trams, we will have to come back another time.

I chose this view across the river for today’s blip as the sky was so appealing.
