Fire stick ....

A sunny day once the frost had lifted. The 2 herds away to the Blackface tup sale at Lanark so had to use the other Land Rover to go round feeding cattle.
The concrete company phoned to say they were ready to deliver the 3 loads of new cattle slats next week- behind schedule ,so will be unable to install them now until the cattle go out the shed next year.
The next problem is you need wooden batons to sit them on as the ones they are delivered on need to go back . I solved this problem by borrowing my mechanic pal’s flat bed trailer and collecting 2 packs of 3” x3” x 5’ stobs from the saw mill. The panel slats can sit on them and then I can use them for fences after.
2 herds back with 2 new purchases so hopefully they will work when the time comes .
By the time all that was done it was getting dark so another day has gone again !
