Fading Grandeur
Such a different day today, with a quick burst of early sunshine that encouraged me to hang out a washing, but followed by dull grey skies and "nae drouth", as they say in Scotland (i.e. no drying power in the air!) So the washing came in again as wet as it had gone out!
A day of housework and other boring things, so just had a quick look round the garden for a blip and liked the way the blue hydrangeas are slowly fading to pink as they age. Wish we could age so gracefully:-)
We have enjoyed the Autumnwatch in New England series with all the wonderful colours and animals and birds. It's on my bucket list, maybe for next year!
