Cheltenham

We went to Cheltenham today to meet our friends Pam and Paul from Stroud. They had found a very interesting vegetarian/vegan restaurant called Vinnie's.  The eaterie is quite small with a limited menu (see extra) run by two guys, a front of house and chef. They are very friendly and chatty and the whole place has a great atmosphere.  I had the vegetarian breakfast, far different to the traditional English/Scottish but totally delicious, and very filling.

After a nice extended lunch P&P set off home and we went to Nero for coffee before walking back to Pittville Park where we had left the car.  It was a lovely sunny day and the park lake was looking very nice. In the park is a large aviary split into sections. One part has a collection of small birds, waxbills I think.  This pair are snuggling up amongst the twigs of this tree.
