Ponte das Tabuas

Situated a on the Camino de Santiago - the Portuguese route - the current bridge dates back to the mid 16th century although there are records of a bridge at this location in the mid 1100’s. A beautiful spot for lunch and we were lucky enough to glimpse a kingfisher over the river.
