The Bath House

Years ago, very few small houses had indoor toilets and bathrooms were few and far between. This communal bath house was essential for many people in Stevenage Old Town to keep clean. They would pop down here for a bath once a month whether they needed it or not. The alms houses next door are quaint with their tiny windows and doors.
