Lest we forget......

Slept well again, think I was dreaming.....

The weather wasn't quite so good as forecast, but we had already decided we would go to Dunham Massey today, so we did :-)

Walked around the deer park, parts were cordoned off.....think its mating season, lots of males with antlers hollering!

Called into The Stables for a bite of lunch, just a sandwich and a coffee, really nice as usual. As we got downstairs the heavens opened, stood huddled in the doorway waiting for the shower to pass, it soon did.....then we headed over to the gardens for in search of more autumn colour.

I took a fair few shots over the course of our 12k+ steps.....but have settled on this one of the little row boat on the lake, bedecked wih poppies as a tribute to those who lost their lives in war.

Its been a relatively mild day but we have put the heatig o. for a while this evening.......home made lamb curry, rice and poppadums for dinner this evening.

Not much on tv tonight, so we have been catching up with Succession, a series on Sky.

Might be going to the cinema tomorrow to see A star is born........really cant wait to see it!

Added a couple of extras from todays outing, thr autumnal colours were pretty striking, although not many reds!
