Scraping the barrel

Zion off school sick... but had already cancelled on guests (a Brazilian family and their kid and a Venezuelan family with their two kids) last week because Sam and Zion weren’t feeling great... so went ahead. I enjoyed going into the market for the food (and to try and get some of the book read that I need to write 1500 words on for an MA deadline...) and then cooking in the afternoon.

As soon as they arrived Zion took to our bed and seemed to get iller! But Sam took care of him and so I got to enjoy a fun evening of interesting conversation in a weird mix of English, Portuguese and Spanish!

There were so many opportunities for photos but I totally forgot!! That is until I was clearing up - hence the empty pan I made beans in!
