Harlow Carr colour burst.

Despite the lovely autumnal colours in the trees at Harlow Carr today it was this Dahlia that really caught my eye.

I took my friend who I haven't seen since August as we have both been away and we had a lovely day.
It was busy but we soon got a table in Betty's for lunch and had a good catch up. We then walked around the garden. It was bit of a milky sun but it was warm and pleasant.
A nice craft exhibition in the Bath House and some interesting new sculptures since out last visit.
After a trip to the shop we went back into Betty's for tea and cake - a treat of a custard slice to celebrate getting together again after several weeks.
Hopefully we will make it back again a couple of times before the end of the year.
