Waiting for Mum

in the rain - she was texting on her phone and that's definitely a sign of the times :)

A day of two halves!  Travel was horrendous - I should have been in London at 8.40 - I got there at 10.30 - having to divert to London via Waterloo thanks to mindless vandals that caused overhead lines to fall on a train last evening....

The weather was foul, pouring with rain all day - but the Blip Meet was warm and friendly once again :)

Thanks to V985 for arranging the walk to Postmans' Park and then the Museum of London after a good lunch at Cafe 101.  

We were joined by Maurice1948 who came all the way from Oban in Scotland whilst visiting family in the area :)  then 13South joined us at the Museum after a meeting she was attending was cancelled....

A better journey home and I walked in the door at about 7pm, having gone an hour and a half of the first train with no refreshments (with a very empty water bottle)...

I'm entering this blip in the Wide Wednesday fChallenge for true autumn because this was truly autumn weather :)

Happy to be Home with my Girl , feet up and resting :)

I will put some pictures up in flockr in the next few days, but I'm shattered now!
