STRAY FOG

My better half's Birthday today so I was on my best behaviour as we toured the streets of Harrogate looking for a Ruby Wedding Anniversary gift, not once did I glance longingly at the ladies passing by, not once did I complain my feet were hurting, not once did I wince as the credit card came out of my wallet. Birthdays come but once a year.....Just you wait till tomorrow, I'll turn back into the curmudgeonly, lecherous skinflint I've always been.
