Friday..my second favourite F-word.

Work started with a meeting about redundancies in the library service. Despite kind of knowing it was on the cards it was still shocking. We'll find out for sure which of us is affected in January. I'm going to try not to dwell on it...

so...as Eddie Murphy declares in trading places "Merry New Year!"

Picked the girls up from school and it was a beautiful afternoon as we walked home. We stopped for a while and admired the view of the moon over the valley.

The girls were away for the weekend and D came round and we watched a some TV then indulged in a bit of Sherlock. I still cried when Sherlock rescued Irene. You know I love that womans style!
