Family Heirloom

This jug has been in the family as long as I can remember. It belonged to my grandfather and came to us when he came to stay with us.I am amazed that it has survived and there is just a little chip at the base. It has held many a bunch of flowers.
I went to Ediburgh with #2 daughter this afternoon as I had bought a sewing machine and I was not very happy with it as it wasn't what I really wanted so I went back to the shop and changed it. The new one was a bit dearer but it has some quilting accessories with it and that is what I really wanted.
Weather was cold and sunny today.
