100 NOT OUT . . .

1918 is clearly a significant year in World History . . .  and to add to this anniversary year I present . . .  Q6 Class 0-8-0 Locomotive 63395  . . . still on duty today at Pickering Station on the NYMR.
This freight workhorse plied the tracks of NE England for 50 years. Loco 63395 was completed by the NER Darlington North Road Works on the 3rd November 1918, one of eight built that year. In 1970 she was purchased by the North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group, and has been with the NYMR ever since.
