A day of Two Halves

The day started off with quite a lot of rain. You will see by the top photo that the weather was a bit iffy - and we were flying home today!!!
But the sun eventually came out, and whilst we were waiting to go off to the airport, the little sparrow joined us on the patio. In fact there were 10 of them, but they did not stay still long enough to get them all in the picture.
We had a good flight home to Heathrow, and eventually, after the long journey back to the West Country fell into bed at 3 this morning (16th!)
