The Hollybush

A 200 year old pub nestling alongside a stream in the small village of Draethen next the larger village of Machen, Caerphilly. Formerly part of The Tredegar Estates of which Tredegar House, Newport (Wales, UK) owned by the Morgan family, an extremely wealthy family who owned most of teh land in the area.

The public bar is said to be haunted and in the one corner I've felt it go cold and a 'presence'. A log fire burns in the winter, and with a pint of ale to hand, it's one of lifes pleasures.
