Fabulous recipe, I insist you all do!
As you can see I did not make the marshmallow frosting.....too much like hard work when you just have a balloon whisk and not much patience!
Also I think I might actually die of overindulgence if this cake had a marshmallow topping...It's everything a winter cake should be, soft and gently crumb, tiny crunch from the crust, deep deep chocolate intensity and that lovely winter spice hit.
Just for the record I left out the ginger but did extra cinnamon and allspice...Eve does not really care for ginger, plus we had run out.
Definitely to be repeated!
