Naughty chair?

Last night we went to a restaurant that specializes in organic food.  This tree hung with lanterns is in the restaurant grounds.   I was wondering why there was a chair there?  Was it in case someone tried to order a pizza?  It turned out that it was perfectly placed for people waiting for a table, and you can wait for around half an hour, or longer,  just to get a table, to take photos of the stream and the tree.  I  actually took this shot from our table.
