The Westgate

Willis came home from his walk with a limp so I phoned and made an appointment at the vets.

I monitored him during the day. He improved during the day so I cancelled the appointment.

After working I went to the small choir’s practice. No hiding as usual. We are getting there.

I took my decent camera with me. This is the Westage. It was built in the 12th century and then modified in the 13th and 14th centuries.

The gate was used until 1959 but then the attached wall was removed so that traffic could drive around it rather than through it.

SarumStroller’s funeral is now Tuesday 30th October at 4pm in Salisbury. I intend to go.
