Hedge Fun

I always stop and peer through our hedge when Ollie dog and I pass under MrQ's oak tree. I thought I'd spotted a duck amongst the water lily leaves on our neighbour's lake but it was just a leaf that had been blown up revealing its dark underside. As I scanned with the 400mm this oak sapling and some pretty leaves came into view.

The ditch here is wide, deep and usually dry and acts as a thoroughfare for wildlife. Ollie has great fun picking up all the scents. I look for droppings to point out to her.
