Ink Cap Fungus

The day started with taking Diego for his annual visit to the vet - as soon as he saw his cat basket he disappeared under the bed ! We man handled him into the basket eventually and all was well .
Our Bird Walk was at Upton Country Park near Poole . I’d never been before and it proved an excellent place to view waterfowl. We had a pleasant time watching many birds including little egrets and some beautiful curlews who let out their familiar call . Unfortunately, the beauty was spoilt by the thundering traffic which carried loudly from Poole bypass. Fortunately, the birds didn’t seem bothered .
