Paddle, anyone?

Another back blip.
The rain didn't stop, though the wind died down overnight, and the race car park was waterlogged so it was shuttle buses from Penrith station, again.
We had quite a while to wait for the start of our race and I ventured out to see if I could get any pics of the weather, it was really too wet, as you can see from the blurs on te pic.
We did run/paddle, however, and I was considerably slower than last year, and managed to fall over on a relatively easy bit! Despite the rain - oh, and the wind got up again just before we started so that the rain was almost horizontally in our faces on the most exposed bit - the photographer was out and  this gives a better idea. of the conditions
