Just a Resting Hummer

The light was fading fast and this little guy was way up in the birch tree..... so this was the best shot I got. He is starting to get quite a few magenta feathers .... but they were difficult to see in this low light. He was hunting for little insects because he was flying on and off this branch every few minutes. They are so fun to watch as they speed around the yard.

I feel better today....just a bit of a cough hanging on....I am delighted. Our son brought little E over for a visit.....she is such a delight.
