Sunday in Maine

As Dolly's granddad was fond of saying, this was a Royal Day. The most absolutely perfect autumn weather you could ask for, a walk with special people through the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, all just beautiful beyond description. Dolly got a ride through Newcastle, Maine and we finished with gigantic lobster rolls at the famous Red's Eats in Wiscasset. It was a wonderful weekend, one to remember.

We're back at Dogcorner, we've inspected all our purchases from LL Bean and other shops in Freeport and more. Images of the beautiful Botantical Gardens, the scents of pine and the salt y air of Maine combined with the bonds of friendship will be rolling around in our heads as we drift off to sleep tonight. Tomorrow will bring another blipmeet and more adventures and stories to share.
