Took this on the way home from Camera Club meeting, where for the first time I listened to a reputable judge assess photos submitted in a Club competition. I learned a lot about the ‘rules’ in relation to, for instance, composition and distacting features. But then the judge presented her own photos in which she (knowingly) broke all the rules! Her overriding message for us all was : take photos with one primary audience in mind: yourself. Are you happy withit? Then that’s all that really matters
