After Callum
We woke and the waters had thankfully receded.
A lot of tidying to do outdoors, but a dry day meant the garage could be aired. A lot of the post Desmond work has paid off:
The rubber garage floor dried by lunch.
The raised electrics meant I wasn't worried to switch anything back on.
Slate chippings don't wash away nearly as much as bark.
The land drain meant the far garden emptied much quicker than we thought.
Phew.
Spent a good chunk of the afternoon proof-reading and then publishing a website I've been building for the Climbing Wall Manufacturers Association, quite pleased with it.
Found this little chap on the decking and moved him somewhere safer.
