Wildcat Trail

October half-term break and we are in sunny Speyside. 

This morning I ran in the Aviemore half-marathon smashing my PB for the distance, though since it is mostly downhill it is not indicative. In the afternoon, we walked the Wildcat Trail around Newtonmore. The colour in the trees and on the auburn hillsides was stunning. We saw no Wildcats, but there was a flock of fieldfares which followed us in the trees above.
