Trentham

Do not be misled by the patch of blue sky, it was dreadfully wet.

I met up with a friend, hoping to walk round the lake at Trentham Gardens and to have a catch up and a nice meal. We didn’t mind what order we did it in. The weather forecast was a bit confusing. If it was ok early on we’d walk and then eat - or vice versa.

The drive there was an aqua planing experience so an early walk was ruled out. Coffee, chat and then a nice lunch, but even then it was still wet. Shopping and another coffee - still wet.

Then we headed for the car park and the drive home. Voila- a patch of blue sky. But it didn’t last much longer than it took to take the photo of the lovely colours....

Never mind, it was a great day out.
