Philosophy

I don't know about you, but this series is making me think about the whole nature of art/creativity.

Of course at its deepest level it's all about 'look at me, love me'. But it's the intermediate level that has me wondering. Do we ponder how to draw attention to ourselves or do we just do things that seem a good idea at that moment, that then achieve that goal, or not? Do we have a message or do we invent the message to justify the creation? Does any recognised and valued art exist in any esteem without a story around it?

Could it be that (shh).. there's no such thing as art; only craft with bullshit?
