Starship Enterprise

I was given a guest ticket to attend a money raising enterprise for the Auckland Starship Hospital, in Christchurch. For me, the best parts were the fascinating introductions by the MC (pictured) and a Starship Air transport nurse, and followed by a woman and her daughter, who had had to be retrieved from Christchurch and flown to the children’s Starship hospital in Auckland. Thankfully the critically daughter recovered. Such an interesting afternoon, and a privilege to be there. I was more than happy to contribute!
The Prada handbag that Petra was carrying, worth $1,900, was later raffled. No, not won by me.
