Talhando Olives

Julia using the nifty little cutter thing I got in Spain last year, to talhar the new olives, it allows them to cure more quickly. I've seen an elderly gentleman doing it with a knife - four cuts around each olive, but as you can imagine, this is a lot quicker.

Glad to report that folk did turn up for the Bible study last night, including C and E, which is wonderful. 

Not so good was Mike puking a couple of times in the night, much sleep lost. He's still managed to lay all the pipes and electric cable in the trench, which is good, as rain is predicted, which would wash soil into it.

Off for a meal at C and E's, with the Padre and others. Ju has made lemon bars; I still need to make a salad...
