Shimmering in the wind

Not a day for Blip inspiration!
Spent most of it on my knees in the 'Music room', attempting to remove numerous little patches of rubbery adhesive from the new(ish) floor. MrM's suggestion that it would "scuff off in time" was clearly wrong; if anything, it was spreading. So I resorted to elbow grease - it's taken an age, but looks much better...

Mild, windy and very wet today - been raining all day - so I thought I'd nip downstairs and take a shot or two of the water droplets hanging from a fern-like plant in the 'yard. But the wind had other ideas; surprised the water stayed on the leaves as they blew around quite wildly. Quite like the effect of the leaves in motion - looks a bit like sparkling fairy lights.

Serious flooding in other parts of the UK, especially Wales, that have been hit by the tail end of storm Callum. Hope you're managing to stay warm and dry wherever you are.
