That Friday feeling

Today disappeared in a way that I can't really account for properly:  work of the paid variety, out shopping for cards and gifts and dinner... and at the end of the day picking up Violet from her new childminder who picks her up from school now.
I did buy some flowers to photograph today but somehow the couple of shots I took didn't do them any justice at all so I'll try again at the weekend.
Final choice: a very sleepy Peggy Sue relaxing on the back of her favourite settee.
